Xtrabold: It’s a MFcKer 20 years old boy from Curitiba that have a great job. Great sense of colors and nice shapes.
dixnbaxi: It’s a good design office from outside the Brazil, because I think we never found a good studio here, joke! hehe. We have good designer and studio too like firmorama, midiaeffects and others.

And…. Finaly, a personal work. A Experience commissioned by Bazar Lúdica for a fashion event. Originally developed as a 5 minutes animation, make with C4D xpresso and AE. The soundFX by my bro Hurakan.

Saudades do papel

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Today I was thinking about me, my career. What I did, what I’m doing and what I want.
I started my career officially with Web Design in a small Rio de Janeiro’s studio when Internet was a different way to use the telephone (Yeah! it was the famous telephone dial-up connections!). My first Boss told me “you don’t need to think and even know the software, just think in your creation,  you will lean how to use the software in a few weeks”. After this metal age, where all things were new to me, and I was forging my knowledge in Corel Draw and Photoshop. I decided that Design would be my profession. I loved colors, shapes and everything else, but above all, the “how to” was a universe to be explored by me.

Many things have happened since 1997 and nowadays, I’m working with motion design, the current magic of the brands. Everything is in movement, the 3D softwares are not black boxes or a “tiamat“. I have a 10mb Internet connexion in my house and don’t need a phone line, but I feel that I forgot something back in the past,  my passion for creation. Well, it’s been more 10 years, and I’m still learning about softwares but now I feel that it’s time to forget about this and focus on my creativity.

Maybe I threw out my first boss’ tips but I guess to rescue then.
I hope it’s the start of a new age in my career.
I hope to enjoy my new life. I just Hope!

Thanks!

32bits rules!

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Well, I try not be a technical guy, always searching the creative way, but this detail impressioned me. I’m working in a little opening and decided to test a 32bits per channel render in C4D. The quality of de render it’s amazing! Mainly in the gamma color.

32bit/channel test:

The same scene rendered with 8bits per channel. There’s a difference between the elements position because I’m working with particles, but the color looks like awful here.

8bit/channel test:

I loved to have a powerful render farm to always setup my projects in 32bit. This is the sad face of the history. The second render took 10 minutes in a octacore  MacPro with 16gb of ram the first took 1 hour. The difference have a price! :(

Equação Complicada

Friday, December 19th, 2008

Olá! Final de ano complicado. A equação vida = trabalho / Tempo Livre [familia + (amigos * lazer * cultura)] está muito dificil de resolver. No entanto tenho tido experiências extraordinarias.
